In Days Gone By
The loss of a loved one is something that most of us have experienced in our lives. We would like to say we fully understand how you are feeling but we are all different in how we grieve; in our make-up; the way we react and the circumstances in which we find ourselves.
Part of the grieving process is how we choose to remember the one who meant so much to us. Traditionally we might visit the graveside in order to reflect upon our personal memories. Some people choose to retain the ashes of their loved ones to provide a focal point for remembrance.
At "In Days Gone By" we feel that the unique service we offer can provide additional comfort to many grieving families.
Our speciality is making Audio Visual DVDs (AVDVDs) in memory of your loved one. The AVDVDs, which can be played on a PC and a television via a DVD player, will have two parts to it. The first section is where your treasured photos (which we will have repaired), will be shown in beautiful and sensitive motion, all set to your choice of music. The second part can be likened to a high quality modern photo album. Here you can pause and reflect on each individual image for as long as you like.
A fundamental part of the process will be to receive your input as it is important that everything we create at "In Days Gone By" is just as you wish.
If you would like us to include some text reflecting your thoughts, in the form of a personal message, a favourite poem, prayer or verse of scripture, we will happily incorportate this into the AVDVD.
As you will watch the AVDVD countless times we ensure that we only use high quality products. The disk is then checked, fine tuned and dispatched to you in a personalised case along with your original photos.
